Karier dimulai sebagai staf EDP (IT Support). Sambil menunggu panggilan troubleshoot dari user, diam-diam merakit prototipe aplikasi KYC pakai C# untuk mengganti sistem VB5 legacy. Aksi curi-curi waktu ini diperhatikan oleh Team Lead, berujung pada "wawancara terselubung" yang sukses menarik saya masuk ke tim Development sesuai passion.
Started as an EDP (IT Support) staff. While waiting for troubleshooting calls, I secretly built a KYC app prototype using C# to replace a legacy VB5 system. My Team Lead noticed this side-hustle, leading to a "stealth interview" that successfully pulled me into the Development team, exactly where my passion lies.

Perjalanan di sini terbagi dua babak. Babak pertama didominasi eksplorasi Java konvensional (JSP, Struts, EJB) hingga integrasi dengan hardware SMS Gateway, Queue System, dan Fingerprint scanner. Babak kedua adalah lompatan arsitektur. Setelah sempat berkontribusi pada versi vanilla cikal bakal Jenius, fokus bergeser ke perombakan arsitektur monolith menjadi Microservices (Spring Boot, Angular) dalam lingkungan containerized OpenShift.
A two-act journey. Act one was dominated by conventional Java (JSP, Struts, EJB) and hardware integration with SMS Gateway, Queue System, and Fingerprint scanner. Act two was an architectural leap. After contributing to the vanilla version of what would become Jenius, the focus shifted to dismantling the monolithic architecture into Microservices (Spring Boot, Angular) deployed on OpenShift containers.

Lompatan ke sini secara teknologi terasa mundur (masih menggunakan desktop applet & EJB client-server), namun memberikan pengalaman manajerial tak terlupakan. Berperan ganda sebagai Technical Project Manager, mengorkestrasi tim internal, middleware, dan tester untuk integrasi API dengan pihak ketiga (IPOT dan PLN).
Technologically, it felt like a step back (using desktop applets & EJB client-server), but it provided unforgettable managerial experience. Acting as a Technical Project Manager, I orchestrated internal teams, middleware, and testers for API integrations with third parties like IPOT and PLN.

Transformasi radikal! Dari mengembangkan aplikasi, beralih menjadi pengembang manusianya. Dimulai dari mengajar kelas pilot IT Bootcamp. Awalnya grogi seperti "bicara dengan whiteboard" dan harus begadang tiap malam menyiapkan modul esok hari. Namun kepuasan melihat siswa mendadak paham menjadi candu tersendiri.
A radical transformation! From developing applications to developing the people who build them. Started by teaching a pilot IT Bootcamp class. Initially nervous, feeling like I was "talking to a whiteboard" and pulling all-nighters to prep modules. But the satisfaction of seeing a student suddenly grasp a concept became highly addictive.

Perjalanan Edukasi Educational Journey
Belajar tidak pernah berhenti hanya di meja kerja. Perjalanan akademik dimulai dari Diploma (D3) Sistem Informasi, berlanjut meraih gelar Sarjana (S1), dan kini telah sukses menyelesaikan Magister Teknologi Informasi (S2) di Universitas Indonesia. Menjembatani pengalaman praktis industri dengan wawasan IT enterprise yang jauh lebih luas.
Learning never stops at the office desk. The academic journey began with a Diploma (D3) in Information Systems, advanced to a Bachelor's Degree (S1), and has now culminated in successfully completing a Master of IT (S2) at the University of Indonesia. Bridging practical industry experience with a much broader view of enterprise IT.

Daripada membanggakan masa lalu tanpa bukti sertifikat, lebih baik fokus pada target di depan mata. Seperti layaknya papan Kanban Agile, saya menyusun daftar target sertifikasi dan skill set yang harus ditaklukkan selanjutnya untuk terus berevolusi.
Rather than boasting about past undocumented milestones, the focus is on the future. Much like an Agile Kanban board, I've lined up a backlog of upcoming certifications and skills to conquer next in order to keep evolving.
